miCoachKeepAlive is an application that keeps the screen on when the My-Coach application is running.The reasoning behind this is that if the user wishes to get an audio update on their workout progress, or to see the visual representation of their speed in relation to the current target zone, they need to unlock the phone (which may involve entering a PIN) before gaining access to the My-Coach screen. This is not easy if the user is in the middle of a workout and has their phone strapped to their arm!To use, simply tap the app icon. My-Coach will launch so go ahead and use it as usual. There is no UI for this application.miCoachKeepAlive will only keep the screen on when My-Coach is running and returns the phone to the usual screen-timeout settings within a few seconds of My-Coach exiting. (After the latest miCoach update it appears that, on some devices at least, miCoachKeepAlive can no longer automatically detect when miCoach has ended. If this is the case on your device, miCoachKeepAlive can be manually exited by touching the icon in the notification area at the top of the screen.)Please note, MyCoach must be installed in order for this app to work.Permissions Information:android.permission.WAKE_LOCK - this is necessary as miCoachKeepAlive needs access to the 'wakelock' in order to keep the screen switched on.I'm happy to add support for other languages, with some help!
